I wrote the opening cinematic, which begins in a bathtub as a child plays with rubber ducks and daydreams about becoming a bubble. The intro unfolds as an in-universe kids’ TV show, where a Bubble Wizard explains how bubbles are born… and warns of the villainous Quackerduck. This playful setup establishes tone, lore, and stakes before the player is dropped down the drain into a fully navigable VR sewer filled to the brim with danger.

Writing for VR was a unique challenge. I was tasked with scripting an immersive cinematic where players retained head movement, could follow action naturally, and wouldn’t lose balance or orientation. I collaborated closely with the rest of the team to ensure the narrative was spatially responsive.

I also helped guide the game's tonal cohesion, keeping the team aligned on our blend of absurdity, whimsy, and low-key existential dread.
